How Do You Use This Incense Powder?

This powder works best on a glowing charcoal disc. Light the disc and wait until it's fully glowing. Place it in a heat-resistant burner filled with sand. Sprinkle a small amount of powder on the disc. Because camphor and laurel both have powerful scents, a little goes a long way. Start with a pinch and assess whether you want to add more.

For ritual cleansing, you can carry the burner through the space, letting the smoke flow toward corners and doorways. Alternatively, use an oil burner with a screen for more gradual release. Open a window during or after burning to let the spent energy leave the space. Let the disc cool completely after use. Do this in a safe place, out of reach of children and pets.
